5 Ways to know a South Korean actor is in love with you
How can you really know if it is true? If you are dating a South Korean actor, the answer should be easy to see. They may even take notes from the characters they portray to show their love. To make it even easier for you, I have decided to list five simple ways you can know if he is in love with you based on actors and the characters they play.
1. It's fight at first sight.
The majority of K-dramas always show the leading man arguing with the girl will fall madly in love with in the drama. He pretty much treats her like dirt until cupid shoots his arrow. Gu Jun Pyo (Lee Min Ho) and Guem Jan Di's (Gu Hye Sun) fated love in the hit 2009 KBS series Boys Over Flowers is a perfect example.
2. He professes his love for you at a K-drama event.
Ji Hyun Woo told Yoo In Na he loved her at a fan meeting celebrating the finale of their Queen In Hyun’s Man K-drama. There is no better way to know he loves you than when he professes it in public.
3. He moves in next door to you.
Rain's character in My Lovable Girl proved that if he truly cares about you; he will at least move in the neighborhood. Lee Hyun Wook initially moved in to protect his first love's younger sister, but he ended up falling in love with her shortly after.
4. He hides you from his mom.
Mothers-in-law can be terrifying! In K-dramas, they always favor a girl their son hates and dislike any girl he loves. So, if he loves you, his mom will be indifferent to you no matter what. In order to protect you, he has to hide you from her. Gu Jun Pyo's mom (played by actress Lee Hye Young) in Boys Over Flowers planned an arranged marriage for him and tortured poor Geum Jan Di. He tried his best to be a mediator between the two ladies, but it didn't always work out.
5. He will protect you from the paparazzi.
The paparazzi hound celebrities and the ones they love. If he takes you out on secret dates (preferably at night), he is doing his best to protect you from being the next headline news. Rain and Lee Seung Gi are trying their best to keep their ladies Kim Tae Hee and Yoo Na out of the spotlight.
